The CO Foundation was founded with ambitious goals: to reimagine music rights, fan engagement, and tokenized participation. Many models were explored, from music rights tokenization to gamified fandom, but despite the vision, lasting product-market-fit was not achieved.

After much reflection, the decision has been made to sunset the CO Foundation and the CO token. This means the project will no longer be supported, and holders should not expect any future utility or value from the CO token.

We have been trying to fundraise for new development, but unfortunately have not been able to succeed with this endeavour.

The community Telegram group will remain open through Q3 2025 to provide space for questions. After that, it will be closed as part of the formal wind-down.

We want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who supported CO and contributed to its journey. Your early belief and participation were integral to the story.

While this chapter comes to a close, we also recognize that early contributions to ambitious ideas often carry forward in unexpected ways. For now, we mark the end of CO with gratitude and a recognition that crypto is always writing new stories.
